Hello to Our Future Readers

Pink Hibiscus Books is the brainchild of two literary partners, one American and one Korean.  Susan diRende, author, teacher, and filmmaker has over 20 years experience creating stories and teaching language and arts for all ages.  Kim Yisook has been a translator of literary fiction and non-fiction from English into Korean for over 10 years.  The two collaborated on a book published in Korea in 2011 by prestigious Moonye Publishing, American College 101: How to survive and thrive in college in America.  They founded Pink Hibiscus Books to introduce the richness of Korean culture to English-speaking readers.  They hope you will enjoy reading these stories.
